Commonwealth head Kamalesh Sharma of India says ministers hope to pinpoint both short- and long-term ways to help slow spiraling prices.

Their yearly meeting draws ministers from across the Commonwealth, as the former British colonies are collectively known.

The Caribbean summit ends Wednesday. Ministers will carry their conclusions on to an annual World Bank and IMF meeting next weekend. (AP)
