IN RECENT DAYS we heard about $1.4 million "in printed matter" going missing from the Central Bank of Barbados. That does not sound good, but there is no doubt in my mind that the person or persons responsible will be caught and punished by law enforcement.

Hopefully, this country is seeing and will continue to see that persons who trade in counterfeit money, or traffic in illegal drugs and arms, or engage in fraudulent scams have no where on earth to hide from the law.

The "war on terror" has resulted in some good, such as mutual legal assistance treaties and the removal of secrecy laws.

Any person or persons guilty of wrongdoing as regards to money that does not belong to him or her, will be caught eventually. Crime does not pay! Honest work does!
