I WANT TO CONGRATULATE President Elect Barack Obama for his victory at the polls.

I noted that neither he nor Senator John McCain in their speeches said good evening, both said good night. I am annoyed when I hear people saying good evening when it is night.

What I found out is that we want to say good morning and good evening. Do we know that each day ends at the 12th hour of the day which is six o' clock in the evening and not 12 o' clock in the night. Why are our educators misleading us?
