THIS ISLAND'S CAPITAL was alive yesterday as members, friends and family of the City of Bridgetown (COB) Credit Union came out to thank God for bringing them successfully through 25 years of existence.
The audience was ministered to in dance, song and the Word of God as they braved the heat to celebrate.
Graceful liturgical dances came from Dance Strides who offered The Lord's Prayer and Dancin' Africa who performed Praise.
Popular gospel artiste Paula Hinds thrilled the audience as she rendered To God Be The Glory and teamed up with Alison Norville-Forde in How Great Thou Art.
The Mighty Gabby, who performed with the COB Chorale and later returned with Bridgetown was also well received.
Vice-president of COB, Shawn Babb, in his opening remarks, said COB shared a proud membership of over 40 000 people and assets of more than $280 million. (CT)
